My Story

Thanks so much for visiting my website!

I’m an American actress living in London with additional bases in Los Angeles, Miami Beach, and New York.

I made my theatrical debut on my first day of life in an upstate New York hospital as the ‘demo baby’ for new mothers. The acting bug had bit and I haven’t looked back since. After two years in New York my family and I then began a series of cross country moves - New York to Santa Barbara to New Jersey then back to California. While enjoying some fun acting / singing / dancing gigs, including more than a year dancing at the original Disneyland, I trained at two amazing drama schools - University of California, Irvine (BA) and The American Conservatory Theater (MFA) in San Francisco. Upon graduation, I moved to New York City. After a brief stint on the daytime drama THE GUIDING LIGHT, I originated the role of The Thought Girl in the Off-Broadway musical OPAL, and then toured the USA with M. BUTTERFLY and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Then ‘life’ took centre stage and I got married and started a family in Texas. In 2001 we relocated with our new young family to the United Kingdom and am now a dual American/British national.

On screen I can be seen as Jenny Salmon in TEN PERCENT (Amazon Prime); as Peggy ‘Blinkie’ Douglas in season 3 of THE CROWN (Netflix); as Mrs Jean Cabot in REBECCA (Netflix); as Alice in THE PIPER (Millennium Media); THE KING’S MAN (Disney+); as Brenda in ON THE OTHER FOOT(Amazon Prime); and Rhonda in REVOLUTION X. Upcoming releases include season 2 of a popular series on Apple TV and a new series for BBC/Netflix.

For video gamers working to save the world from a Zombie invasion I can be found as principal antagonist Lola Konradt in the much anticipated video game DEAD ISLAND 2. Evil or just misunderstood?…

London theatre credits include FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS (Riverside Studios); BONNIE & CLYDE (Garrick Theatre/Arts Theatre & Original West End Cast Recording); EUREKA DAY, OTHER DESERT CITIES (Old Vic); STRANGERS ON A TRAIN (Gielgud Theatre); BURIED CHILD (Trafalgar Studios); and HAMLET (Almeida/Harold Pinter).

Regionally I was in the Hope Mill Theatre’s productions of MAME, PERFECTLY ORDINARY and THE EXONERATED; as well as in OKLAHOMA!; HAIRSPRAY; SISTER ACT; COUGAR THE MUSICAL; 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL (Best Actress Offie nomination); and the UK/Ireland tour of THE SOUND OF MUSIC. I played Carlotta in the UK premiere of Yeston and Kopit’s PHANTOM. Just before theatre came to a standstill in 2020 I performed in Slovenia as Jocasta in an adaptation of ANTIGONE set in the Balkan War. I’ve also toured the UK with two one woman shows: JUST A HOUSEWIFE, and YOU GIVE ME FEVER - THE PHAEDRA CABARET.

Really nice stuff people have said about me: “Pippa dazzled the audience from start to finish.” - A YOUNGER THEATRE. “Winslow is nothing short of a treasure; fabulous voice, exudes glamour, wonderfully dry sense of humour and plenty of charisma.” - VIEWS FROM THE GODS. “…Pippa Winslow is undoubtedly the highlight of the evening... Watching Winslow act is an absolute joy.” - VIVALAMUSICAL.CO.UK

I have been nominated for three Best Actress awards for the film SOMETHING BLUE, and two Best Actress awards for Violet in 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL and for a BroadwayWorld.com award for Outstanding Performance by an Alternate/Understudy for my work in EUREKA DAY at the Old Vic.
